  • The healthy life style is a must to a human being but so hard to follow through. I try to exercise by taking brisk walks every other day, but I have a challenge when it comes to indulging in various foods. Do you perhaps have a suggestion on how I can eventually eat health

      Thank you for your comment. Teaching yourself to eat healthy and avoid unhealthy foods is a challenge that will take a while and a lot of work to overcome. There is so much that you can do to start. A few too name are eating more fruits and vegetables. Another way is to balance your diet with how much you exercise. You want to eat the right amount of calories so that you don’t gain weight by eating too much or by losing weight by not eating enough.   • You offer some great advise.  Something that I have done to help is get a Fitbit.  It is amazing how many steps you can get extra by setting a goal.  It also helps me by reminding to walk every hour.  I also track how much water I am drinking on their app, and it has helped me to drink more water.  

    Are their any supplements that you would recommend for someone.  I know I am supposed to eat healthy, but that doesn’t also ways happen.  Either lack of time to make something nutritional or too tired to make something more healthy.  Unfortunately, junk food is always quicker to find and eat unfortunately.  

    I was very surprised by the number of years that you can add to your life by just changing a few things.

  • I was thinking, where were you before my bypass in 2010.  Then I remembered, you might have been right behind me whispering, “Straighten out your diet, and get some exercise.”  A few minor setbacks before retirement, a little diet control and exercise and I am now finally seeing the skinny side of 200 pounds.

    What supplements would you  recommend for an old man and his wonderful wife (68 years old) before we buy a trailer and tour the US to Alaska and back to Texas? The guidelines that you mentioned in your post, sound like a good place to start.

      Thank you for your comment. Congratulations on your accomplishment. Besides all the physical stuff you can do, setting goals for yourself is among the most important. In response to your question, there are many supplements to choose from. It also depends on what you want the supplements to do. Besides dieting supplements there are others for all kinds of things like increasing your energy and even slow your aging.     I think you give alot of great tips on leading an active and healthy lifestyle. Many times we get caught up on everything else in life and neglect our own health. There’s so much to worry about as an adult that sometimes our physical and mental health get pushed back for more important things. 

    I like how you walk the user through a number of ways to improve their health. There are also a number of great products to help with our health and well-being. I appreciate some of the advise such as trying not to indulge and drink too much. Those things can lead to bad habits and lower self-esteem.

    It is important to take care of yourself and not worry too much about what others have to say or what the world thinks you should be. I’m wondering if you have any tips on healthy exercises to do daily? I like looking into which supplements are all natural versus the synthetic ones.

      Thank you for your comment. It is so true that in many people, their own health gets put on the back burner so they can focus on other things. It is so important to focus on your health because aside from making you feel better, sometimes there are problems that stemmed from the health problems and will go away as your health gets better. In response to your question about exercises, you can never go wrong with the simple stuff like daily walks or jogs. One thing that I have been obsessing over recently is the trend in exercise bikes. If getting out and running is not your thing, I would recommend looking into these. If your also looking for other exercises I will be posting a guide to the best exercises for your body.
